GUIDE FOR AUTHORS
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Submission Declaration
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis or as an electronic preprint), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere including electronically in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the copyright-holder.
Covering Letter
Authors should briefly indicate some adequate reasons why they think that rapid publication of their work in Bulletin of Chemical and Pharma Research (BCPR) is justified.
Copyright Transfer Agreement
For each submission, the completed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form with authors’ signature should be submitted to BCPR.
BCPR provides a Copyright Agreement Form for completing the journal publishing agreement. Copyright Agreement form can be downloaded from the home page of the journal site and then uploaded the dully filled agreement to BCPR journal with the signature of corresponding author during manuscript submission. Only the corresponding author may complete the Copyright Agreement Form. If the corresponding author cannot or should not complete this agreement for any reason, another author should complete and sign in the agreement form on behalf of corresponding author.
Publication cannot proceed without a signed copy of this Agreement.
Suggested Reviewers
On submitting their manuscripts, authors are encouraged to supply the names and contact addresses of three potential reviewers (on the contrary, if there are some reviewers whom you wish to avoid, you may provide such information), although such suggestion will not be always accepted by the Editors.
Conflict of Interest
All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations within three years of beginning the submitted work that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work.
Manuscript Submission
Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically using our Online Submission system (http://www.bcprjournal.com/ index.php/ manuscripts/ menuscript-online-submission). The Bulletin of Chemical and Pharma Research will no longer accept hard copy submissions of manuscripts by postal or courier services. New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site, submissions should be made via the Author Center. If you experience any problems with your submission or with the site, please contact Service support.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
All manuscripts will be accepted in English language only. Please write your text using American or British English language, but not a mixture of these).
Communications
Authors who submit Communications are required to use the word-processing templates (http://www.bcprjournal.com/bcpr-communication-template.docx). Use of the template will ensure proper formatting and will facilitate the placement of graphics in the manuscript. It will allow authors and editors to accurately estimate the length of Communications at submission and will eliminate delay of shortening to the three page limit at the page proof stage.
Articles and Reviews
Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order for the full length Articles and Reviews:
· Title page
· Abstract and Keywords
· Introduction
· Experimental Section
· Results and Discussion (this section may be separate or combined, depending on the clarity and conciseness of presentation)
· Conclusions
· Acknowledgement (optional)
· Supporting Information description (optional)
· References
· Graphical Abstract
Schemes, tables and figures, with their captions, should be inserted as close as possible to their first reference in the text to facilitate review of the manuscript. For communication, word-processing template available on the journal website will facilitate the embedding of Tables, Schemes and Figures.
Pages must be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page and ending with References. Figures, tables, charts, and schemes should be numbered with Arabic numerals.
Title Page:
The title page should contain only the tile of the manuscript, full names and affiliations of all authors involved in the preparation of the manuscript; name and full contact address of the corresponding author along with the e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers.
Abstract:
All original research articles and reviews must be accompanied by an abstract of maximum 200 words and for communications limit is maximum 100 words. The abstract must be laconic and comprehensible emphasizing on scientific research, principal results, major conclusion of the study and further implications. To enable the readers, to know the importance of study and to assist the search engine in what the study was prominent, the reference citations and abbreviations are abstained.
Keywords:
Authors must provide three to six key words immediately after the abstract summarization to assist index services.
Introduction:
A brief background information should be given, which focus on authors hypothesis, experimental or theoretical methods used to probe that. Clear, concise explanation of purpose of research, objectives and how it is employed in larger field of research. Provide with appropriate information so that the reader will be more inclined on the research work done by author. Duplications are strictly discouraged.
Experimental Section
Experimental section must contain adequate information to procreate the work. Experimental part accompanied by the description of instruments used to characterize the samples or the synthesized compounds. An elaborated description of all experimental techniques used in research and detailed study of experimental procedures of each experiment. While delineation of synthetic experiment must provide the product’s systematic name (IUPAC) and the structure number assigned to the compound in the “Results and Discussion” section. Appropriate references should be stated, if the authors followed previously reported procedures or techniques.
Results and Discussion
Present the major results and summary of precise description of scientific research work. Try to mention all the tables, schemes, figures in this section only and avoid redundancy. Justify the new claims and provide implications for the innovations in the particular field of research.
Conclusions
Authors must render a simple conclusion from their observations in the presented research work.
Acknowledgements
Acknowledge the funding sources who supported financially or the people contribution aided in research.
Supporting Information
Authors can submit materials such as additional experimental details, graphics of the spectra or figures related to the submitted research work as Supporting Information in MS word or PDF file format.
References
References are to be cited successively in the text as superscript Arabic numerals. The list of references should contain initials and names of all authors. Precise references are author’s responsibility.

Graphical Abstract
A graphical abstract is mandatory with each manuscript for the publication in this journal. Graphical abstract should contain a small diagram or other informative illustration that clearly represent the work described in the article to capture the attention of a wide readership online. Graphical abstracts should be submitted as a separate file at the time of manuscript submission.

Schemes & Figures:
Figures and Schemes should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers as they appear, i.e. Figure 1., Scheme 1. etc. together with a caption placed below figures/schemes and adjusted to 10 font size. Figures and Schemes should be added within the body of the manuscript close to the relevant text, but at the end of a paragraph. Schemes or chemical structures should be drawn using Chem Draw or ISIS Draw. To ensure the highest print quality, Figures must also be submitted as separate files in TIFF format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Whenever possible, use numbers to identify items in a figure, and give the corresponding explanation of these numbers in the figure caption.
Tables:
It is recommended to present physical constants and spectral characteristics in the form of tables and should be embedded in the text. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and must be created using Microsoft word table format. A descriptive title should be provided to each table adjusted to 10 font size, above the table, e.g. "Table 1. Comparison of effect of catalysts in the formation of 2,5-dimethyl-N-phenyl pyrrole (3a) at room temperature." The title, together with the individual column headings, should render the table self-explanatory as far as possible. Indicate the footnotes with superscript lowercase letters and place below the body of the table.
